I'm looking for any information about the Matrisian family from Surowica. I know that my great grandfather Theodore Matrisian was born in Surowica on June 5 1879. Some alternate spellings of Matrisian that we found on emigration records are: Mabrishen, Matrishin, Metrusin

What ever spelling you found on US documents, I would say that is an Americanized version of a surname. The spelling MATRISIAN does not comply to Polish grammar.
