I saw your message concerning the RAPP family name. I am VERY new to reserching my family tree...(this is the first time on this site). I am from the Butler County area. My parents, (Elwin Amrhein, and Sharon Johnston) were born and raised in the Pittsburgh (north hills) area. My dads parents names are Marcell and Ellie Mae. IF we are related...I am sure it is distant, but somewhere I think I recall the last name of RAPP brought up. Let me know...you may help me get my tree off the ground! ~TIM~

Thanks

I am also researching Amrhein's from the North Hills section of Pittsburgh. I have found a cemetary where quite a few reside - I don't know if any from your branch. Please let me know if you need additional details.

My father's name is Charles R. Amrhein and his parents are Jacob A. Amrhein and Margaret (McGuire) Amrhein. Jacob, my grandfather, had many siblings (I think 10 including himself) -- Catherine, Andrew, Frank, Leonard, Al, Bernadette, not sure the entire list....
