Trying to locate information regarding John Ax and Elizabeth Irwin, married in Stark County, Ohio, Nov 1833. They had a son named Joseph Ax, born in 1836, Tuscarawas, Ohio. Joseph married Mary Ann Deely/Dealy 1859, Tuscarawas, Ohio. They moved to Martinsville, Illionis and had a son named William, who married Dorinda Richey. William (born 1882) and Dorinda Ax moved to Martinsville, Illinois where they had a son named Floyd Ax.

I have some information on Archibald Ax that married Grace Ermon Clabourn in Arkansas County, Arkansas in 1896. Grace was a sister to my great-grandfather, Cornelius Clabourn. I think this Archibald in my tree belongs to Joseph and Mary Ann Ax. Would like to share information.

I knew Archie and his father and mother, brother and all his sisters. I think I met your father once at Uncle Bob Phillips ranch at Heber Springs, Ar once. Joe Pete brought him over to a reunion type of thing. Jay
