I have the Brandt surname in my family, however they seem to have lived in Lancaster,Pa,dating back to the early 1700's. My g-g-grandfather, James Meginnis was married to Frances Veronica Brandt(1792-1874). Her father was John Brandt(1767-1842),married to Frances Veronican Bucher. Any of these names in your family?

My grandmother was Lavicia Theresa Brandt (called Louise) born in Franklin Co. Pa. June 1,1869. Went to school near Greensburg, Pa. married George William Robinson. Her parents were Robert Wendall Brandt and Jane Villars of Fayette Co. Pa. Robert's father was Sebastian Lawrence Brandt of Bavaria Germany. Louise had a brother Villars (who I believe never married) and a sister Dora. Any connection? E-mail me directly csladen@aol.com

My maiden name is also Brandt. My father was Stanley born in 1920's. His father was Willaim married to Lillian ?, My fathers siblings were Louis and William.
I have a copy of the deed to their home in Doylestown PA, as my father was orphaned in the late 30's. They were very much a military family, I have original letters from Brandts' wriiten home from the civil war.
