Hi, I just found this, and saw that there are others who also have or are interested in ancestors with the DeBlasio name. My father was a DeBlasio, and his father was named Benjamin, and he had a brother named Alex. Our family always thought that they were the only DeBlasio's around. I'm not sure what town in Italy my father's father was from, or when he came to the United States. I'd really be interested in possibly finding others with this name and also maybe finding out if somehow we'd be related? Thank You.

I have a friend who spells his name without the o. He doesn't know if it has always been this way and asked me if there were some way I could find out. I told him I'd try. His parents died early in his life. His mother had two husbands, and so Angelo has two brothers named Joe. Anything sound familar? Babs

My Name is Dorothy DeBlasio. Married to M. Roger DeBlasio who is son of Pasquale V. DeBlasio. Most of family lives in the Pittburgh PA area, but a few lived in W. Va with a different spelling. Pasquale came to United States as a teenager alone from a village in Calabria, San Nicole. Do you have dates of birth for your family members?

My great-grandfather was named Frank (Francesco) DeBlasio. He came to the United States from Italy in the early 1900s along with his brother Dominick. My family is from the Pittsburgh area. Let me know if this sounds like your family.
