Martha Reinhart:
I have just read a book entitled A Historical, Biographical and Genealogy Account of Certain Branches of the DEBRULER and HARGRAVE FAMILIES. This book is in the Allen County Public Library at 900 Webster, Fort Wayne, Indiana. The book was authored by Eva DeBruler in 1938. She mentions a Greenfield DeBruler marring Sally Wilson about Oct. 8, 1811. She also notes a Micajah Greenfield DeBruler whose records are to be found in the court houses of Granville and Orange Counties of North Carolina.
I am looking for my descendents and have traced some of them to Kentucky, Ohio and southern Indiana. My Family is from Noble County, In. and spells the name as DeBrular. The DeBrular name is very elusive and in many cases the search turns up as DeBruler and Debruler. I think that possibly the ar ending has been a miss spell. Do you know anything about the er ending and the ar ending.

The Micajah Greenfield Debrular you note is supposed to be the father of my Elizabeth Greenfield Debrular (that is the spelling that appears on her death certificate and the marriage index, although I too find the other spellings). Does the book show who his wife is? Thank you for the information. My Email is Basstique@aol.com

Hi, I don't know the name Jenifer or Whalen but I know there are Tolsons in the Middleton tree. Are you saying you are Jenifer's great granddaughter? Theodore is my great great grandfather and his wife Elizabeth G. Debrular was living with my great grandfather James in 1900 in Washington DC. Juliana Hoxton married Theodore's father, also named Theodore. That Theodore was in the Revolutionary war. How are you related again? Is Jenifer a last name or a first name?
Theodore and Juliana had a daughter named Susan that married Edward Tolson.
