Parents names were Thomas Boone Molly Katherine Elkin. He married
Nannie Mae Pitcher. Really don't have any more info right now. If you
know of any thing that might help me trace his linage, please reply to
this message. I am new at this and just beginning to start this line.

Betsy Elkin was my gr.gr.grandmother. I have no birth and death dates for her. She married my gr.gr.grandfather, Abraham Froman on 1/21/1806; their son, Bayless Elkin Froman was born 8/11/1812. Abraham married for the second time 11/7/1818, so Betsy died sometime between Aug. 1812, and Nov. 1818. I have been unable to find any other info about her, so if someone can come up with something, I would certainly be happy to share any other info that I might have.

Sorry, I failed to mention that this was in Kentucky, possibly Hardin Co., or Mercer Co.

Dear Doris: I am so happy to hear from you. Bayless Elkin Froman is also my gr.grandfather-so we are second cousins. My grandmother Martha Elizabeth Froman was your grandfather, Lorenzo's older sister. My father called him Uncle Rennie. E-mail me at SRUndrwd@aol.com. I have lots of info about the Fromans that I'll be happy to pass on to you. Love, Shirley Underwood
