Hi Cindy
There is a large Petrowski family in Saskatchewan. My grandparent immigrated from Bertneckiw, Austria. If interested in more info, please contact me. My mother, as well, is quite interested in locating any family members.

My great uncle Kazimir Petrowski emigrated from Ukraine village of Kasperowce in the late 1800's. He settled in Rochester (New York?) where he eventually owned his own nut and bolt business.
I would like to contact any of his family.

I have seen the name spelled many different ways on documents that my mother had. I believe the difference can be attributed to migration from one nationality to another. Well anyway, my grandfather was Anton Osipovich Petrovski, he lived in Smorgon Poland and married a Rozalia Romanovski. He died in 1927 in Smorgon. His wife died in 1937. Let me know if this rings a bell.

My 2G grandfather was Frank Petrowski. He was born around January, 1848 and died around 1928. He married Julia Suschitzka who was born around 1850 and died around 1926. I know where they are buried here in Milwaukee, but I have to go to the cemetery because when I called the office, they tell me they're not buried there even though my grandmother knows they are. There are lots of Petrowskis buried there, as well as Petroskes. Frank's son, also a Frank, changed the spelling to Petroske and there are dozens of descendants here in WI.

We are going to the cemetery next week. Are there any Piotrowskis/Petrowskis/Petroskes you would like me to look around for?

Petrowski from Mississippi.....

That is great info Kathryn. My sister married a Petrowski about 17 years ago and his family is from Mississippi. I have been doing lots of genealogy for my own roots and he has become quite interested. I would like to help start him out on his own trail. Do you have
any info on Petrowski's from that area? If you would like to email me direct, it is
per page
