My previous posting is all I have on the Stubbs family. I found the information on this family in the Dunn WS census records for that time period of 1880-1900. Anne Marie Stobb stated that her family came over to the US in 1870. I have nothing on the other surnames you mentioned.

Anton Rudolph Stobb had a brother who died early on and 6 or 7 sisters. He came with his wife, Liesel Helene Dudda came to America in the late 1920's to Connecticut and then back to Genmany or Austria about 1930. He returned to America and lived in Wisconsin until the 1960's. His son Rudolph was born in Conn in 1929, Margaret was born a few years later and Walter was born in Wisconsin many years later.
Anton was born in Dusseldorf Germany 2/15/1904, his wife was born in Itzeho 12/28/1903. Their parents info is as follows:
Antonius Stobb born Rhineland Germany, married 6/25/1892 to Anne Marie Striel born in Rhineland
Leopold Dudda born in Prussia married 1/10/1892 Amalia Doerkopf.
Anyone with more info for us to expand on this tree?

Dear Kenmarjr,
You stated you have more information on Gottfried Stobb? I was wondering what information you have. I have a biographical sketch of Gottfried Stobb from a Dunn County History book that is filled with a nice amount of information, but doesn't give a specific birth place other than Germany. I am a descendent of Gottfried F. Stobb of Dunn County, WI (son of Gottfried & Wilhemine Stobb), he was born 30 Mar 1858 died 31 May 1946 and his first wife Fredericka Suckow. Gottfried married a second time to Minnie Finder. I have the information from the biographical sketch and what I found via the U.S. Census. My line is from his daughter Helene Stobb (Helen "Lena" was from first wife and she married Edward/Eduard Krueger/Kruger) then their son Friedrich (Fred Kruger) and his wife Mary Julia Rosicka, then to my Grandmother Alice E. Kruger (married to Edwin John Marcoe). If you have any further info on the Stobb's (like a specfic birth place in Prussia/Germany) I would be very interested or do you know if any photographs exist? Thanks for any response.

My Ggfather was Gustav Karl Stobb, changed name to Charles Stubb, son of Gottfried Stobb. Found 2 birth places for Charles, Niederzehren, West Prenssen, Prenssen, and Marien, Werder, Poland. I have a descendant list for Gottfried.
I have added the Krueger info to my file.
Thanks, Ken Wold
