Hi Art:

The book by Violette Allaire was published in 1962. Do you use a computer program? If you do I can send you a gedcom file and you will have all the relationships in one place or I can send you a text document. According to Violette Allaire's book Telesphore had only the one son Leo who married Marguerite Beaudoin. I am assuming that you would like to have the charts of the brothers and sisters of Telesphore. Let me know.

Art;
I'm looking for the
Throckmorton
allair family of Monmouth co., NJ c:1844. The daughter, Mary R. born 1844, was my gg-grandmother.
From the messages I see posted on this board the Allair family seems to be of French-Canadian descent?? I know very little about this part of my family; have you run across this family? CJ

My Great-grand father's sister was Elizabeth Robbins Allaire. She was married to William L. Allaire and I believe he was the son of Throckmorton Allaire. If you have any information proving or disproving this, I would appreciate it.

Claudia,
I'm sorry to be so late in responding to your query about Elizabeth Allaire.
Yes, I have her listed as the wife of William Lounsbury Allair. They married about 1869.
My line is off William's sister Mary Reynolds Allair Snedeker.
What do you know about the Allair family? Do you have a list of the children of William and Elizabeth?
The other Allair children of that family were James Peter, Sarah Frances, Ella and Frank T. According to my records (obtained ?, I had this BAD habit of not siting sources!!! It has left me frustrated to say the least! I now site them.)
I have James Peter Allair and Frances Duncan listed as the parents of Throckmorton.
Let me hea back and perhaps we can fill in each others blanks.
Carolyn

Hi - I know this is a really old thread but I'm looking for information on Leo Allaire and his ancestry. My husband is a grandson to Leo, and he is interested in finding out the Metis or Native roots in the family. We understand that Leo's mother - Darcina Dussiame - was Metis. Does anyone have any records on this? Thank you.
