My grandfather and his brothers came from Menfi in Sicily. They came to the US around 1903. My grandfather's name was Giacomo and his brothers were Antonino and Luciano. I am also studying that side of the family so any info would be appreciated.

My Grandmother Paola Scarpinati was from Caltabellotta B. 1882 D. 1978 in S. Anna d. Caltabellotta. Her brother Giuseppe Sarpinato B.1885 d. 1966 in New Jersey USA. their parents were Natale Scarpinati and Maria (?). my father also had a 1st cousin Giovanni Scarpinati B. 1913 in caltabellotta and died in Philadelphia in 1980. I don't know where he fits in. Giuseppe Spelled his name Scarpinato, some spell it Scarpinata I believe they all sound like Scarpinata when they pronounce it.
Let me know if my family fits in yours.
