I am desparately in need of any help from any of you that might be able to shed some light on the aformentioned KETCHUM's.
Im searching for my fathers birth mother who's maiden name was Ketchum. She was unmarried at the time of his birth placed him for adoption. We dont know if she ever married or what that name might be. This all happened in Pasadena CA , August 28 1937.

The facts I have are few:
1)her name was Elsie Irene Ketchum
2)born in Oklahoma later moved to Pasadena Ca.
3)she was 18 in 1937.

Ann, Look for Solomon on OK GenWeb pages - Craig County, or just OK GenWeb pages - Indian Territory, under interviews. Solomon gave an interview which is very entertaining. I am from Craig County originally. The town of Ketchum, OK was named after his family. Good hunting! Marsha

Was Charles a Delaware Indian Ketchum

My ggrandfather was Charles Ketchum married first to Mary Keith then to Cynthia Cade. He was born in Ohio in 1822 died in Kansas in 1872. His son Everett was born in Wisconsin. I would like to know if he was a Delaware Indian or not.
