Yes, they very well may be related as I know the families traveled to Cheboygan. So far I have them related to the surnames I have listed above. Do you have any of these surnames or any one they were related to in St. Ignace or the UP? I am trying to find the connection in Cheboygan. This is a bit of what I have... Lawrence Charbonneau came to this area, Alger Co.MI. His parents were Noah Charbonneau and Minnie Vizina of Cheboygan, MI. Beaugrand Twp. Noah's parents were Isadore Charbonneau and Anna Ella Laprell/Lapelle? Her father George. His father also Isadore, then Thomas Charbonneau. This is all the family here had on these people. If someone has more, I would be glad to pass it on to the family here.
