I am desperately looking for any trace of my father, Carl Edward August Johannes Rosengreen.
I only know that he was born in the 1920's in Copenhagen, (Kobenhavn) Denmark and his father was called Hans Oscar.
I would be grateful for any information please

Here's a Hans Oscar Rosengren with an English born wife in Copenhagen 1913-1919, but no children then listed:

Do you have a more specific birthdate or estimate for Carl? I see by your profile that you are in the U. K.

>>>Hans Oscar August Marinius Rosengren

Coincidence is possible, but a Hans Oskar August Rosengren of same age was a crewman on a Danish ship in 1930 and listed 5 years of sea service (line 21 of attached manifest)

A glossary of nautical terms lists "Donkeyman" as the crewman who tends a donkey boiler, or engine, and assists in engine room, and a donkey boiler is an auxillary boiler used while the ship is in port.
