Sarah Elizabeth ROSS was the daughter of Richard and Elizabeth (BOX) ROSS.

Hi Glenda - Could you tell me where Jacob was from. I have a Jacob MAYBERRY (21 Jan 1826 - 12 Jul 1887) from Montgomery County, PA area. I cannot find anything on his parents. Maybe this Jacob could be my Jacob's father or uncle?

Surnames: MAYBERRY,MAYBURY, MABRY, MAYBEARY MORRIS
Mark,
Most of the people trying to find out who Jacob
Mayberry's parent's are, think he (Jacob Mayberry: born 1801) was born in KY or TN. Jacob was married to
Elizabeth Morris, d/o Thomas Grancer Morris. The
Morris's are in Wake County, NC in the late 1790's
and early 1800's, there are also some Maybury's
and Mabry's.
On the 1800's Census, Wake County, NC, there are
David Maybury
Demsey Mayberry
Richard Mayberry
Henry Maybury
but I do not know if any of those are Jacob's parents or if
they are even related.
On the 1930 Census, in Montgomery County, AR.
D. J. Mayberry (David James Mayberry) list in the
column where father is born-- has Alalabama.
David James Mayberry is my gggrandfather.
It seems all his children, have him listed being born
in a different state. (TN, KY, NC. KY or United States).
Some of the children last name is spelled MABERRY
also.
(Too I wanted to add this, we (my sister & I were looking
on her birth certificate, her last name is spelled
Maybeary. She did not think that was too funny ! )
Thanks for your reply.
