Franciszek Wilk

I am looking for information on a Franciszek Wilk who came from the Galician village of Zarzecze and came to Detorit, MI. He came to the US in 1913 via Ellis Island.

A Wiktoria Wilk traveled with my Zdziebko grandmother to Detroit.

Surnames: Neustadt
My grandfather, his older brother (died at age 5 from menengitis), and his two older sisters were born in Mielec. That had a fairly common last name--Neustadt. They immigrated to the United States in 1920, but my great-grandfather's siblings and their families stayed behind. The city was massacred twice by the Nazis during the Holocaust, and the entire Jewish population was destroyed, my family included. Is there any way to find out who they were?

In reply to your request for some information about surmanes from Mielec...
My grandmother's name was Rozalia Tylec and she married Józef Kaczor. During the Second World War (in my childhood) I had often been in Laczki Brzeskie. In those times we lived in Warsaw and Jan Brzeski was often a visitor in our house. All the names you have mentioned are familiar to me.
Best regards
