another weird thing if you look up julia terry's death online at ancestry.ca it says she was a farmer's wife so is she married and still using maiden name or was she one of the terry childrens spouse?

If this is your Michael Terry, you could contact the cemetery if they have records that far back and see who gave the information on his burial.

A Julia Terry is buried there as well. Same Reference.
Also a Margaret Terry. Same Reference.

The last two would be Edward and Ellen Lewis on 1871 census.
There is no 1851 census from Osgoode. Either lost or destroyed.

I did not find a death registration of any of the above peoples nor did I find a marriage for Michael Lewis.

Finally found one death

Margaret Terry, died 21 August 1882, aged 83, farmer's wife, b Ireland, died of old age, informant: Michael Terry, son of deceased of Osgood. Roman Catholic.
Last name was transcribed as Ferry. I sent in a correction.

Where would I find further census for Canada,(1900, 1910, 1920) is there a certain website I can search to see when Micheal is no longer listed or if they have children. I think Ellen is his sister , maybe they had children, any-way you have brought me closer to getting some answers as to where their father Michael( b. 1779 in Ireland) is buried. I'm hoping the father is buried near the son. Again, thank you! Mary
