I have ancestors of Martha Jane Matlack daughter of Jesse and Nancy Ann Kingery all of New Palestine. Martha married Jessie Armiger my great great grandfather. Then she married Moore Holden. If you would like this information please respond. Also Marcia Hendryx Parker has the same info. Granddaughter of Mildred Kitley Hendryx.

Matlacks and Kingerys settled in Hancock Co. in the 1840s
and would like to connect with anyone who has done research
on these names.

I am related to Jesse MATLOCK and Nancy KINGERY. I have their eight children's names: Martha b. 1861; John Robert, b. 1864; Mary C. b. 1865; Sallie, b.1867; Alfred, b. Apr. 1867; Deborah, b. May 1870; Joseph, b. 1873; Charles, b. Apr. 1880. I am a descendant from Nancy's brother Martin VanBuren Kingery born Feb 19, 1857 IN. I don't have all of the spouses names or children for the all the siblings some yes. I know a little bit about Nancy's parents, George H. and Jane Irene EMMONS and siblings but I would love to know more. Thanks.

Thanks for the update. I also have Sallie married to James H. Colestock, 19 Feb. 1890 in Hancock Co., IN; Alfred married to Eliza A. Pierson, married 28 Apr. 1897 in Hancock Co., IN. Their children are Myrtle b. Sep 1898; Celia, b. 1902; Dortha, b. 1906; Wilbur, b. 1909; Mary, b. 1913; Ruth, b. 1915. I have Joseph married to Armilda McCabe on 7 Nov. 1904 in Hancock Co., IN. Also, I have Charles married to Mae Blackford ( I didn't know about Bess Smith) their children are Mary. E. b. 1907; Dorothy L., b. 1913; George P., b. 1915. I believe they were all born & married in Hancock Co., IN. That is all the information I have on the Matlock's. Do you have any pictures of Jesse or Nancy or their children? Sorry I don't have any pictures of the Matlacks. I have a picture of my grandpa Jesse Armiger who married Mary Jane. this is my line. Marsha Parker may have some I will write her and ask if she does.
