I am researching the descendants of "Lawrence" Kadletz (Kadlec) and Katherine Schweiner. Their daughter Barbara marries Albert Jisa. Their daughter Anna Jisa born in 1879 married Martin Zelenka. All of these families were in Kewaunee County in the mid to late 1800's. All were originally from Bohemia.

In case you get this response, I see it has been three years sence posted. I am interested in your Jisa family. I have been working on the Jisa's in Illinois for a few years now and have been in touch with some family members.
Was just wondering if a Joseph Jisa or Katherine Jisa Drnec could be related. Joseph was born in about 1840 and
Katherine in 1846. Kewaunee County is not fimilar but I thought it could be a try.

Hi Dan,
I have three of Lawrence & Katherine's children's marriage certificates. Annie who married Joseph Janda, Mary who married Joseph Mleziva, Mathias who married Anastasia Bures. All three of these certificates say's that Katherine's last name was Mach. I believe Schweiner or Schweimer is Katherine's mothers maiden name. I do have more information on the Lawrence Kadlec line including the name of the ship & the year that they sailed to America. Let me know if I can be of any more help.

Hi all
Kadletz, Mach, Kulhanek, Schweiner - it seems all be families origin from Domazlice area southwest Bohemia. Lot of emigrants from this area settled down in Kewaunee.
All the best.
Tony.

I also am researching the Kadletz family. Barbara Kadletz is my 3rd great grandmother. Barbara's son John Jisa is my 2nd great grandfather which I believe is Anna Jisa's brother. I have Anna (Jisa) Zelenka's obituary if you would like. I also have Barbara (Kadletz) Jisa and Albert Jisa's death certificate. I do not know alot about Katherine (Schweiner) Kadletz. I do have information on thier immigration. I live 20 miles south of Kewaunee and am very familiar with the Pilsen of which they resided. I also have some photos.
I'd be glad to share any information with you.

Hi Dan... I am researching the KADLEC/KADLETZ family as is several others. I am wondering where you came up with a maiden name of "Schweiner" for Katherine whom was wife of Lawrence/Lorenz KADLETZ? Fri. when I was looking at hard copy records I had found maiden name to be MACH/MACHA. This leads me to think that either she was married twice, or there are two Lawrence KADLETZ in the area that were both married to a Katherine. I honestly have not found two of them though. Did your Katherine d: 10/22/1911 and was b:8/20/1831?
