Mary Kizer is my great grandmother, wife of John Bowler. Both were born in Canada, and moved to New York, Redfield, Oswego. This is where my grandfather was born. They came back to Canada and I have yet to find out if they returned to the states. I know my grandfather, James R. Bowler and my grandmother Edith Pearl Bowler, nee Loveland, were both born in Redfield. My grandfather died in 1976, Oshawa, Ontario. My father is Norman James Bowler, who is still alive. There is my aunt Bernice who has asked me to writer her and put down all the information I would like to know about the family and she will try to help me out. My aunt Joan and uncle Robert Bowler are still alive also. There are only three that have passed on, Shirley the youngest died of cancer, Marjorie the oldest, died of natural causes, and my uncle Ken was a homicide victim in his own home. I would really like to hear from anyone who knew my family or has information about them. My email is writerjunkiesis@yahoo.ca I was informed that they lived in Hasting, my great grandparents did for a time. I am trying my hardest to figure out my family tree and make have to make an investment into some books, which I am sure I will not regret. I look forward to any information that may be available to me. My dad did have an aunt Lottie, and I remember visiting her above the Music store, where she had an apartment on Simcoe Street North in Oshawa, Ontario, Canada. I have so many bits and pieces of memories. I think the music store was called, Wilson's Music Store. My email for anyone who would like to contact me with questions or information please let me know. Many thanks to all, Karen Gail Bowler

Hello there, My maiden name is Bowler and Mary Ellen Kiser is my great grandmother, John Bowler her husband. They moved from Hastings, Belleville, Ontario, Canada to Florence, Oswego, New York. While living in New York, my grandfather, James Rizon Bowler was born there. Also, another brother and his younger sister Flossie, who we called Florence or Flo. I know all the siblings and the children's names. John Bowler moved back to Canada with all of his family. My grandfather James travelled before his mother and father did. With him he brought a young girl named, Edith Pearl Loveland. They both were born in Redfield, New York. They married in Oshawa. There is much more family information and if you would like to know more email me at, writerjunkiesis@yahoo.ca I would be more than glad to help if you need any or anyone else. My Bowler family had a Family Reunion in Oshawa, Ontario, Canada in 1971-72. Family from Texas, California, New York, and so many other States. I took at least a hundred pictures and ended losing my camera case with all my film and camera outside the Hall on Bloor and Simcoe Street in Oshawa. Big tears fell that day. If anyone has any photos from this event, I would love to have them emailed to me, they would be received with much gratitude and thanks. Hope this helps you and anyone who may want information about their Canadian Bowler Family.
