I am researching the WOJCIECHOWSKI family of St. Louis, Nikolaj (born Dec. 1867 in Poland), married Helena ANIELAK (born Feb 1875 in Ohio, probably Toledo). They lived in St. Louis and had 6 children that I know of: Joseph, Peter, Roman, Henry, Agnes, and Frances. Would like to contact descendants or others with information about this family.

Marilyn, my Roman Wojciechowski was born 9 Aug 1897 and died 23 Oct 1907. Buried Calvary Cemetery in St. Louis. Sorry to say "my" Roman can't be "your" Roman

This reply is from Frank Williams. My father, Edmund Jacob Williams (deceased) had changed his name from Wojciechowski. I have his father's name as Morgan but I have also heard the name Roman and thought it was a mistake. Morgan (Roman?) was a miner who mined coal in PA, copper in MI, and coal in IL. He also operated a saloon in E. St Louis. He is deceased and is buried in Carbondale IL. My information is that Morgan's first wife was Amelia. She died in Staunton IL. His second wife was Stanislawa. She is buried near E. St. Louis. My parents never said much about the family and I have had a difficult time finding out about them.
