Catholic Orphanage in Virginia

I am trying to find information on my cousin. His name is/ was Patrick Gorman(?). He was born around 1920 - 1930 and placed in a, possibly Catholic orphanage in Richmond VA. His biological mother's name was Mary Gorman of Washington DC, but his biological father's name is unknown. From what I know, he was never adopted.
If possible, I would like to find him and bring him home to his family.

Check St. Joseph's Villa.. It was a Catholic orphanage until the early 1970s. It is located at the intersection of Brook Rd (route 1) and Parham Rd in Richmond, VA. The campus still stands today but has made many transitions over the years. I am looking for 2 sisters that resided there around 1966-68. My parents fostered the younger girl or about a year on the weekends and wanted to adopt her but the social worker said no and then would not let our family see her after that.

Does anyone know where we can find the documents?
