Here's what I have:JANE married Stephen Cobb in 1815 at about 16 years of age, if she was the same person, who in 1838 at the age 38, under the name of "Jane Beckwith,a daughter of Ichabod and Susan Whitney," abjured the Protestant faith and married Patrick Ford in the Catholic church.Thier is a whole page on Ichabod and more info on Janes siblings.Let me know if you want any more info. Was there any information regarding Ichabod's parents or what he did? I believe he was a loyalist and in the army or some branch of service but I have no detail.

Thanks again.

Hello Jaqui -

Would you have any information on the mysterious Ichabod Beckwith b about 1762? He married Susannah Whitney abt. 1787. I am looking for any information about these folks. Their daughter Elizabeth Beckwith married (my GGG Grandfather) Hugh Mackay, who's father Robert Mackay is turning out to be extremely hard to get any information about also. Anything you want to share would be greatly appreciated.
