I am looking for a Daniel Ford who died in San Francisco ca. 1910. He was married to Margaret O'Brien Cassidy. Their children are named William, Alice Louise, and Eleanor. He was probably born between 1850 and 1865 in Ireland. Could he be part of your family?

New e-mail address and still researching the Fordes of Co. Cork.

I have a detailed family tree from 1619 to the present day; English Protestant planters, started in Carrigaskullihy, near Bandon; our branch moved to the Cloyne area in the 1840s. A very prolific tree, with many branches still to be completed. Includes farmers, doctors, engineers etc. Popular Christian names - Gideon, Samuel, William, George and Henry. If you think you may have a connection please e-mail me privately - I don't get to visit this site very often. Note my new e-mail address - mmforde@telinco.com

I have just joined ancestry.com. My maternal grandmother's grandfather was Michael Forde from Bandon.
My grandmother, Anne Forde, was born in 1883, in Ringaskiddy, Co Cork, so at a guess her grandfather, Michael Forde, was born before 1840 in Bandon.
He may have married a woman calld Ann.
I think my tree is public. It is under Riordan.
Let me know if you see any connection.

I have a Hannah or Johanna Ford or Forde...not sure of spelling, who married a Patrick Curran in Dromtariff, Cork, Ireland in 1838. I can't find any other info on Hannah/ Johanna.

Not sure if there is any connection.
