I am also wondering if John is related to Peter. Did your Peter also have a brother named Conrad? They came here in the 1780's. There was a Marte Riggleman who came over on the Molly in 1741. He could be the father, otherwise, there doesn't seem to be a listing of his parents.
All I know is that John was born in Germany about 1750, married Barbara about 1793. Have you been able to find any other information?
Thanks,
Debbie

Debbie Yes as far as I can tell, my Peter did have a brother Conrad. Are you related to the Riggleman's ? What is your direct line ? Peter is my third greatgrandfather. Still looking for proof of his father. I think Marte that came over on the "MOLLY" was Peter's grandfather. Any help appreciated. Joanne

Joanne,
I will send you an attachment that was taken from the introducion in the Riggleman book written by Lewis Yankey.
I have not seen the Riggleman book, someone on the message boards has helped me and sent it to me. Yankey is a 7th genereation descendant of John and Barbara.
My grandmother was Melvina Mae Riggleman, her father was John Samuel Riggleman, whose father was John Wesley Riggleman. This is when the line stops. However, John Wesley claimed he was from the John and Barbara line, but I haven't found out how yet.
Debbie
I saw the message you received from Misty, did she send you anything that was helpful?
