I am looking for info on May Cleveland who was married to John Sluth. I found in Prarie Memories a marriage between May Cleveland & John Sluth. Would May be the daughter of James Cleveland & Mary Elizabeth Fales??

Any info on their ancestry and decendants would be wonderful.
Also I would like to get in touch with any offspring of this family. This is related to genealogy of the Fales family.

In looking through the census for 1881, 1901, 1906 and 1911 I find James and Elizabeth (Fales) Cleveland had George Ernest, Mabel, Carrie Morrison and Leila May who was born 3 May 1884 in the R.M. of Oakland. Lila May died on 14 October 1885 in Oakland at the age of 17. Since this girl's name on her death certificate was still Cleveland she was single when she died. The wife of James Mary E./Elizabath Cleveland died on 4 January 1889 in Oakland at the age of 34 years. Also George Ernest dies on 8 July 1904 at the age of 24 in Turtle Mountain. This Cleveland family in 1906 was living in the town of Killarney. So far I cannot find another May Cleveland.

Thanks for the info on this family but it is a confusing one. I have been in touch with Carrie Morrison Cleveland's offspring and she informed me Carrie changed her name to Katherine Malvona. I have been talking to offspring of May (Cleveland) Sluth and their story seems to hook into the Cleveland family in that a brother died young. I assume that was George.The birth record of Leila May Cleveland is James & Elizabeth's but the Lila that died at 17 years of age doesn't seem to be the same one. I can't find anything on Mable. Puzzling to say the least.

My grandmother was May Cleveland married to John Sluth.She was born in Annapolis Valley,Nova Scotia. Spent most of her youth in Killarney,Manitoba.Settled at Webb, Sask.

Do you have any info on who May's parents were? My family is on the Fales side and I can't seem to hook May with James Handley Cleveland who married Mary Frances Fales. Any more info you could give me would help a lot. Was this May Cleveland the sister of Carrie Morrison Cleveland who changed her name to Kathlene Malvona Cleveland.
