My family was in a farming village named Rezvinitz (not sure of spelling, spelled it like it sounds), It was south of Krakow (again not sure of the spelling) Hope this helps. I do now think my great grandfather Karol Rygiel came via Elis Island we think.

From what document did you collect the location Rezvinitz?
Did you look for Karol's arrival manifest in Philadelphia port? If your Karol was naturalized citizen than his intent & petition will have his place of birth. If he married in US than the church marriage record should have his place of birth and parents names.
