Niemczyk surname

Hello,
I'm looking for any information about the Niemczyk family from Gledlarowa. From what I have found so far, my great grandfather Joseph Niemczyk was born in Gledlarowa (or possibly Galica?) around 1894. He may have arrived in the US in 1913, and he settled in New York. His wife Anna was also from the same area, but I don't know her maiden name and haven't been able to find anything more about her.

Any information or help would be much appreciated.

Probably it is Marriage Record for Jozef and Anna;

and probably Census 1940;

Thank you, that was really helpful. I had found the 1940 census record, but not the marriage record.

Thanks,
Krista

Hi Krista,
see Census 1930 with wrong spelling for Niemczyk;
https://familysearch.org/pal:/MM9.1.1/X78J-469
Jozef immigration year was 1913.
From marriage you have Jozef birth year, father name Michal Niemczyk, mather name Katarzyna Niemczyk.
Surname Niemczyk is popular in Giedlarowa - I probably found the tomb for Katarzyna Niemczyk;
http://www.giedlarowacmentarz.pl/?s=niemczyk
[in 4 row] Katarzyna Niemczyk d. 08.09.1931 [Sep. 8,1931].
Fresch flowers means, that somebody from Katarzyna and Jozef family is still living in Giedlarowa.
I am not related to Niemczyk and I am not from Giedlarowa.
I will look, how I can help you in search.
Cordially.
