My Grandfather was Thomas P. P. Cunnyngham Sr.
of Tennessee. I don't have his birthdate. I'm
guessing late 1800's. I don't know if there
could be a decendant connection. Do you know
if yours migrated to the south? The Fords

We may be related. My GGgrandfather, Charles Randall Cunningham, was the son of Thomas of Edgecomb, Maine, who was the son of William of Belfast, Maine. William was born in Townsend, Mass, moved with his family to Peterborough, NH and then to Edgecomb and Belfast, Maine, where he died. Called "Major" William but we're not sure of that yet. Built boats. House still stands in Belfast on Main Street (2007)

As far back as my brick wall, I have 3 brothers, Thomas (b. ca 1801), Daniel (b. 1808) and David (b. 1809) Cunningham. Daniel and David were born in Jefferson. I've narrowed their father down to one of three: James, Samuel or William Cunningham (info deducted from census 1810). That's as far as I go. Do we still match? Do you have a dob for Thomas or for Charles?
