Seeking information about JAMES L. BAKER
AND ADA BAKER living in Jefferson county
around 1910. Their children went to school in the area:
Callie, Mattie, Birtie, Wesley, Millie and Atley.
Also seeking information about the DARROW AND STALLINGS FAMILIES
around the same time. MELISSA BAKER AND THE CLARKSTONS of the same period.
Many of these people are buried in the Dixie Cem.
Any information you might have would be helpful.
Thanks
Carolyn Amant Bridges

I have a copy of Jefferson Co Oklahoma Familiy Histories, but without the given names it is impossible to know if the family in the book is the one you need.

I responded to your message several weeks ago. It has never appeared. Didn't find the family you wanted.

Some members of the Baker Family attended the Asphaltum Community School. The North Center Point School was located about 2 1/2 miles east of the Ashpaltum Community School. Families that lived in these communities often attended church together. So, there was a lot of mixing. I am not aware of any marriages between Stallings and Baker family members though. You can identify the Baker and Stallings family members who attended Asphaltum and North Center Point Community Schools by consulting records at the Jefferson County Court House. I have no information about Billy Darrow.
