There was no Wlm. C. Lindsay listed on WI Marriages or ID. Perhaps they married in Nebraska (where Edith was born)

Thought you might find this interesting!

Jan 27, 1927
Appleton Post Crescent (Appleton, WI)
The members of the George Lindsay family between Waupaca and Manawa received Christmas greetings at their home over the telephone from Dr. W.C.Lindsay. The call was relayed through Seatle, Wash., and completed in Manawa. The conversation could be heard clearly, and was the longest call ever received through the Manawa Telephone Exchange.

There are quit a few articles in this same paper about this Lindsay family. If your interested, let me know.

Thanks for the info. Yes, I would appreciate the references to the family from the Post-Crescent.
