I have been looking 10 years for the father and mother of Rufus F. Darby, listed on the 1910 Census in Delaware County Indiana with wife Louise Kelly as being born in West Virginia in 1870. Please help if you can.

He states
Born 26 Sep 1870 in Walker/Walker's Station, WV
Father Wm Darby, now dead, b. Ohio.
Father lived in the USA continuously from 1839 - 1875.
Rufus is currently living in Fredonia, Kansas, occ. Broker
Going to Mexico City, Oaxaca and Tampico "to inspect property which I am interested in".

On the next page, Fannie Fitch, formerly Fannie Darby, of Belpre, Washington, Ohio, tells a notary that she and her former husband, William Darby were married and had a son, Rufus F Darby, 26 Sep 1870 in Walkers Station, WV, and when last heard from was in San Antonio.

has Felton R born 6 Sep 1870 in Wood County to Wm M Darby and Mary C. The Ancestry.com WV Births index has him born then with mother Elizabeth. WV Archives has the original image. There's a Wm M who marries Mary Smith in Kanawha Co in 1862 on http://www.wvculture.org/vrr/va_mcsearch.aspx
