I am also related to the Cantley's from N.S. and have been working on the family tree for some time. Contact me and we'll see if we're related.

Hi Tom,
I'm jut making sure this is you, in Gibsons. LOL Was it really your Great grandfather that arrived in NS in the 1950s? Did you contact the other person doing research on the CANTLEY family?

Re: Cantleys in Nova Scotia, Canada
I'm wondering if you've been in touch with Tom Cantley in regards to your messages on the Ancestry message boards.
He's looking for a Thomas CANTLEY who arrived from Scotland in New Glasgow, NS, circa 1940 to 1952. Don't know if he's related to the Col. & past Senator of the same name.
Cheers

Re: Cantleys in Nova Scotia, Canada
Thanks for posting. How far back have you researched your branch of the Cantley line? Has your family been in the US for a long time? Did you arrive there from Canada? Have you gotten back to Scotland? Good luck with tracing your roots. Maybe a Google search of your surname will tell you where it started from? Lola
