HI ALL: Looking for info about KARNERs from Austria. My g/father was Michael Karner, born in WOLFAU Austria in 1858? and his wife also from WOLFAU, Theseria KARNER, nee FLASCH. Any info/links appreciated !!! Believe Michael's parents were John Karner and his other's maiden name was Schiller.

My father-in-law was Johann Karner, from Wolfau. Johann came to the U.S. in the 1920's. Any information you can share about the Wolfau Karners will be appreciated.

I'm joining this discussion a few years since you started so hope you're still working on this!
My father's grandmother's name was Veronica Karner, married to Gyorgy Mikolics - both buried in Csatka, Hungary. At this stage of the search, no-one seems to know much about Veronica's family but I noticed that the Karner surname seems to pop up in Austria. It's a long shot but thought it'd put it out there.
