Janet,
My grandmother (who passed away before I was born) swore that we were connected to the Millers of Plattsburgh, NY. So, I've been researching them, trying to connect my great great great grandfather (Philip S. Miller, born about 1804, and later lived in Franklin County, NY), but haven't made a connection yet.

I have a little info. on the Millers that you listed (below).

Do you have any info. on the siblings of this Thomas Miller (b. 1802)? I know that 2 of them (Lucretia, and Ann Elizabeth "Eliza") married Platt men, and from early census records, it looks like this Thomas may have had many more siblings.

The parents of this Thomas Miller were Col. Thomas S. Miller & Elizabeth Conklin(g).

Descendants of Thomas S. Miller:

Fought in the Battle of Plattsburgh.
Col. Thomas Miller was Commander of the 8th regular New York Militia. His home was occupied by British troops from Sept. 6-11, 1814, during the Battle of Plattsburgh in the War of 1812. It was from their home that Mrs. Tom Miller watched the Battle of Plattsburgh. This original home burned in 1844.
A house replaced the original, and is at the corner of the Tom Miller Rd., and the Quarry Rd., in Plattsburgh, NY.

The Tom Miller Road in Plattsburgh, NY is named for him.
Thomas Miller came to Plattsburgh with his wife and his parents in 1795, and settled on a 400 acre farm (near "Halsey's Corners").

Can you tell me the parents of James Henry Palmer? I believe he connects to my line.

Also do you have a Phillip Miller?

I have so many people in the area in my lines that I felt like I knew who you were talking about even though right now I have no direct connection.

I have main lines of Beardsley, Palmer, White, DeKalb, Chatterton, Stott, Flanders, Russell, Perry, Jenks, Cayea/Cayer, LaPlant/LaPlante, Murtaugh, Henry,

Also some connections to Rivers, Saunders, Webster, Walton, Welch, Cox, Washburn, Banker, Wood, Prime, Smith, O'Donnell, Nash, Eastman, Otis, Tobey, Stevens, Glazier, and others.

Some names you listed are in Susquehanna County, PA
I recognize some of them; unfortunately I'm in the middle of a flood (Great Bend/Hallstead) so will have to look when things settle down.
