I was hoping someone could help me out searching for an obituary for William H.H. Yearance, a Civil War veteran that died March 10, 1924 in Lehi City, Utah. I've been researching his father and was hoping his son's obituary may provide some good information. He was born on June 15, 1841 in Penn Yan, Yates, New York and was a member of the US Navy during the Civil War. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Thanks for the link. I'm not used to researching in Utah, so I wasn't aware of the death certificates site. The obit I was looking for was mostly so I could figure out if his father was the same John Yearance that lived in Michigan. I'm just trying to confirm the link and I thought it might say something.

I found reference to a son of William and Emma Yearance (Utah Census lookup) in a book of mine about Lehi history, his name was Frank Yearance. Frank owned a Saloon in Lehi, later the building the Saloon was in was renamed the Yearance Building. There is a photo of the Saloon in the book with several people standing in front of it. The photo is not very clear however.
If Frank is of interest to you, let me know.
