Have 800 Cassidys from Derry. Faughanvale Parish. Cumber Lower Parish. Would love to hear from other Cassidys from that area.

My ancestors James and Jane Cassidy left Limavady, Ireland in 1853 and 1854. They left from Derry and went to St. John's and later moved to Plymouth, Mass. Jane came in 1854 with her four children (Margaret 6, John 4, Samuel 2 and Robert infant). Are any of these Cassidys listed in Derry? Thanks for your help.

There are James Cassidys, but they remained in Ireland. Perhaps later on, we could link these Cassidys. I find them very near Limavady.

Im looking for a Garret Cassidy born about 1844, farther Charles, farmer .In griffirhs evaluatin there are three Charles listed in derry, parishes:maghera: ballymacombs .I know this request is a bit of a long shot,but i need HELP!!! best wishes Linda

Have a Patrick Cassidy born in Derry County, Ireland in 1825, Married Margaret McGough born in Ireland in 1835. They had three Children. Mary Elizabeth Cassidy 1861, Margaret Cassidy Klein and Charles Cassidy all born Taylor Township, Epworth, Iowa.

Do you have a James Cassidy born about 1809 and a Patrick Cassidy born in 1810, they went to Canada first then to Peninsula, Ohio around 1830
