Am interested in the history of the Van Bruggen family who originated from the area of Asperen. My grandfather Martinus van Bruggen was born around 1888 in the nearby village of Acquoy.

You mentioned you had info on KOK. Do you have info on an ANTHONIE KOK who would have lived in Heukelum in Holland in the early 1900's? I believe he worked on a mail boat.

I am doing research on my grandfathers DeJong ancestors of Gelderland. Derk deJong was born about 1760 in Deil. He married Mieke deKok in 1786 in Meteren. They had seven children: Theuis b. 1786, Geisbetta b. 1788, Jan Gijsbert b. 1788. These three were b. in Deil. Belia b. 1790, Gijsbert b. 1792, Gerrit b. 1795 and Geertruij b. 1804 all in Meteren.
Do you have any info. on any of this family?

Hello:
Sorry, but I do not have any Dejong or DeKok from G.
Gelderland.
I have a Cornelia Dejong, but she is from Noord-Brabant , and I do not have any dates or places for her.
You might want to try GenLias and search for Dejong and DeKok, In either gelderland or NoordBrabant.
Thanks let me know If I can be of further help.
