John Wark and Marguerite Gravel were married on January 15, 1787 in Williamstown, Glengarry. I am looking for the names of the parents for this couple as well as where they come from. Your help is appreciated.

Not much to go on but if I were to guess I would think John Wark might have been English and came north to Glengarry from the Mohawk Valley as a United Empire Loyalist.Gravel is French and probably came from Quebec. There is a John Werk who came as a UEL in 1785 and was given free land Lot 16 in the 2nd Concession of Williamsburgh. Both Marguerite Gravel and Jean Wark in a search are shown in St. Martin Parish Quebec in 1814-1815 so maybe they moved to her former area.
