Hi Tina,
My ancestor was Anna Baize, sister of John Baize of Ohio Co., Ky. John Baize m. Nancy Shultz, dau of Matthias Shultz.

I have a book called Matthias Shultz and His Descendants by Carlyle W. Bennett, printed by McDowell Pubs. of Pleasant Ridge, Ky., phone 1-800-285-4075. I see no Warner or Warrner in the index. I believe all the Baizes of Ohio Co., Ky. would be descs. of this John Baize and Nancy Shultz. As far as I know nothing has been found on John's and Anna's parents. Some of John's descendants aren't sure about my Anna being his sister, but I believe she is. They were the only two Baizes in that area in the early 1800s.

Sorry, I do not have any descendants of John Baize except for the names of his seven children, and I see that his first child, Matthias was born 1803, and married Elizabeth Hall, Feb. 10, 1825. Matthias and Elizabeth had seven children, but no descendants for them are named in a book I have called "Matthias Shultz and His Descendants."

Hi Phyllis,
I do not descend from John Baize and Nancy Shultz, but from Anna Baize, thought to be John's sister.

I live near Baizetown, Ky. and have done considerable research on the whole family, since my ggrandmother was Martha C. Baize, daughter of Charles Baize and Matilda Shepherd. Charles had 10 more sibblings.
I would like to learn more about your Anna Baize...when was she born, who were her parents? I find one Anna Baize born abt. 1812, believed to be daughter of John and Nancy Baize, she had a brother named John Baize, II. Could this possibly be the Anna you are talking about?

Sorry, but I replied to the wrong inquiry...will try to correct this way: I live near Baizetown, Ky. and have done considerable research on the Baize family, back to John and Nancy.
I would like to learn more about you...who were your parents, grandparents, ggrandparents, etc.
I have one Anna Baize, born abt. 1812, believed to be a daughter of the original John Baize. He had 12 children, and one of them was John Baize II, who would have been a brother to this Anna.
Could this possibly be your Anna? I am eager to know your family line. My ggrandmother was Martha C. Baize, daughter of Charles Baize, son of John and Nancy.
