I am also looking for a Zachariah Bailey. He was born in Lynchbrg VA in 1797 and died in Randolph County Georgia around 1845. He was the SHeriff of Rancolph County. He was married to Bethia Grier. We are looking for his fathers name and brothers and sisters. If this sounds familiar let me know.

I have a Zachariah Bailey b 12/5/1832 in SC, then moved to GA. His parents were David Bailey and Cassa Hollingsworth. Is it possible that your Zachariah was an uncle to mine? I think David's father's name was John T Bailey.

My gg-grandfather was Eli W. Sullivan. His son William Mitchell Sullivan was my g-grandfather. William should be the son of Eli and Frances Ann Bailey Sullivan. I can not find them in the 1850 census. By 1860 Eli was remarried. I would like to identify Frances' parents. Any help would be appreciated.

It is possible that your Frances Bailey is the daughter of David Bailey (7/8/1810 - 10/24/1878) and Cassa Hollingsworth (1815 - 5/1//1877). I show Frances as being born 6/5/1832, with about 11 siblings: Annie, Zachariah, Alexander, Isaac Johnson, David Hollingsworth, John J., and others. Do you have any information on the siblings of your Frances?

There was a Zachariah Bailey b. 1793 near Lynchburg, Campbell County, Va. who arrived in Randolph County, Ga. ca. 1831 who was elected sheriff there.

Zachariah married Berthia Grier.

Zachariah is not in my Bailey line, but I have considerable info on him I developed trying to prove he was part of my line.

If you would like any of this info let me know.
