David Ashworth April 21, 1868 to March 17, 1923
married Mary Ann Blezzard who was born August 31, 1871 and died December 20, 1966. Mary's father was Thomas Blezzard and her mother was Mary Ann Smithers.

Their daughter was Elsie, born April 28, 1901
She married Harold Leroy Jenken who was born July 04, 1898 and died in Mission City, BC.

David and Mary Ann also had a daughter named Melia, who was my great grandmother. She was from the Rossburn Manitoba area, and I had always assumed she was, Metis. I guess not...

It says David was born in Darwen, Lancashire, England and Mary Ann was born in Liverpool and they were married in Bolton Lancashire in 1892 so they would have arrived in Canada after that. They were in the 1901 Census in England and in the 1906 census in Canada.
