I have some general questions about KY marriage bonds.

The major question is in 1816 in KY what was the personal/financial or otherwise criteria that had to be met to sign security in an individuals marriage?perhaps a certain age the individual had to be?did they have to prove they could pay the penalty?

Secondly How old in 1816 did an individual need to be to be married and were there personal or property/financial stipulations the candidate had to meet.

Any other information that may be gleaned by default due to rules and regulations though not stated on the bond by the applicant that may be helpful Id like to hear of it.

Thanks
