Hi,
I am also researching in the Chieti area. My g grandparents were Henry D'angelo and Anna Nicoletta Altobelli. Her father was ArcAngelo Altobello (although it is also spelled Altobelli)She had two sisters Sabina an another one, and two brothers Tony and John. The nameless sister and Anna -when she married Henry-moved to Santa Lucia, perhaps Buenos Aires, Argentina. Have you found any more info. regarding your family or anything about this area of Argentina (Buenos Aires)? Thank you for any response. Angel Rogers

Frank, There are lots of people searching for the Bernardis, I never knew how popular our name is! I am searching for Louis James Bernardi, has a twin sister Philomena and brother August. I have pics of Louis and August. Louis was born l925 - l928. Served the US army in l944 and l945. Resided in upper Manhattan l25th Street and thereabouts with his parents during the early l940s. Any liks to this info would be appreciated. Do we know the same people. Unfortunately I don't ahve any info re Italy, except I met up with a woman named Rosina Bernardi, the only Bernardi in my entire life I came face to face with. She is from Brazil and lives here in NJ. She is more familiar with Italy than I am. Any questions, let me know.

Frank,
Hi, my name is Joseph DiBartolomeo,my mother is Barbara Marchesani and we live 5 miles outside Philadelphia.
My Great Grandfather is Gaetano Marchesani and lived in South and West Philadelphia with the family. I have been searching for more information on Mary (Maria) Battaglini, my Great Grandmother. I have some fantastic connections thru an organization to Abruzzo and Vasto. I was in Italy last November without much success to find the actual street or house they lived or any marriage docs or Birth docs for my Grandfather, Domenico. I would love to contact you directly. If this is possible please let me know.
Thank you for your posting it made my year and I will share it with my grandfather who also wonders about everyone.
