Joseph was the youngest brother of my GGgrandmother Sarah Anne Brocklehurst. Joseph died in 1886 and Eliza died before 1891. Albert Henry died in WW1, Joseph Jnr was ordained and became an Archdeacon in New Zealand, John Sheldon Jack Brocklehurst emigrated to US as did younger sister Nora Mary. Have fair bit of info on the family and quite a lot of family correspondance from late 1800s and early 1900s. Get in touch if you want more info.

I am amazed to get your email, this is great news. The Brocklehurst's were my grandparents best friends. I have two pictures of Jack and Mary's wedding and also pictures of Ivy and Nora when they were younger.
I also have a picture opf Albert Henry Brocklehurst's grave in France. I beklive it is Nora standing in front of the grave.

Look forward to hearing from you, i can hardly wait.

Nora Mary was my grandmother, her mother Eliza died 1891 or later because i found her married to John Johnson with Nora and John living with them as well and a daughter Winnifred Johnson and infant. I would be interested in the correspondence or any stories you can tell about the family. I will share what I can,
