I am an Orlando from Ohio. I have family all over the country. There is Joey Orlando in Arizona, and there is Sam and Joe Orlando in Ohio. I am family with a Jasper and Salvador. I am pretty sure that my family came from Sicily or somewhere in Italy. If you have any information on my Family HIstory, Please e-mail me or respond to this message somehow.

Hi Eric I found your message and thought we might be family. My grandmother's surname was Orlando. She was the only child my great grandmother sent to Argentina, where I live. Her brothers emmigrated to the US and settled in Ohio. We lost contact when my grandma died because my mother could not read or write either in English or Italian (we speak Spanish here). I have been trying to make contact with those Orlandos for a while now since I think it is sad to have family that you have never met and which became separated due to the war. If you think we might be related in some way, please do not hesitate to e-mail me.
Cheers.
Cynthia

I don't know if your related to our family. My husbands ancestors came from Prizzi, Sicily. There is much inter-marriage with Orlando marrying Orlando. Perhaps your family came from that region.

Hi, I am married now, but my maiden name is Orlando. I live in Texas, but was born in Gloucester, Mass. My grandfather on my dad's side was born in Sicily, Italy, but has passed on. My parents are Frank Rosemary Orlando also born in Mass. My Mom's parents were Frontiero's. Good luck searching.

Barbara, Our grandparents came from Caronia Sicily. Between palermo and Messina.
Guiseppe Orlando came through Ellis island and landed in Philadelphia. Married the sister of Domiano Crisci, from Caronia Antonina Crisci. Moved to Reading Pa. Worked for Ludens. Guiseppe had a brother, Sebastiano Orlando of Philadelphia who died in 1952; and a sister Grace who married into the Sottosanti family. Antonina, my grandmother was the daughter of joseph Crisci and of Josephine (Pazina) Crisci. Is there a possible connection and do you have some other info available?
Thanks, John Orlando

To John C Orlando, It doesn't look like we have a link, but I'll never say never, as my husbands grandparents were both Orlando surnames as was his great-grandmother. They all were from Prizzi. Barb

Hi John, I have an Orlando in my family also. My aunt, Mary Theresa Orlando, married my uncle, John James Crossland. The lived in Shamokin, Northumberland Co., Pa. John James brother told me that Mary Theresa Orlando's parents were Joseph Orlando and Agnes Kulick. Does any of this ring a bell? Have you ever heard the name Kulick? Thank you for any help. Vivian
