Tombstones show my great grandfather (John (O)Sullivan) and great grandmother Ellen (Nel) Brennan were natives of Bandon. John's mother was Catherine (O)Driscoll and his father was Daniel (O)Sullivan. John was born in 1815 and Ellen in 1813. They were married in Bandon on Feb 11, 1834.
They must have left for the US immediately because census records show them living in a small town in central NY (Florence) with a child born in the US in 1835.

They had ten children (1) William 1835 civil war vet (2)James 1836 (3)John Jr 1840 (4)Margaret 1841 (5)Patrick 1843 (6)Mary 1846 (7)Dennis 1848 (8)Ellen 1850 (9) Catherine 'married a Dunn and moved to Denver" and my grandfather (10)David
