"res. Park between Raleigh and West"

I found this home address for Benjamin Talbot, wagon maker, in the 1880 Chatham City Directory. I haven't yet found a map of Chatham in the 1800s. A Google map of Chatham today shows Park Street stopping at Queen Street, and Richmond Street continuing to the west, where it does intersect Raleigh and West. Was Richmond once Park Street West before a renaming?

Or did Park Avenue West exist at that time and Harvey and West once extend that far south so as to intersect it? (They don't today, on a Google map of Chatham).

Thanks for your help.
