My fathers name is James Robet Garvin. He was born in 1925. His parents were James Garvin and Mrtle Garvin. My ancestors are from Irleand

Saw your message---my husband's Garvin line started in Ireland w/ Wm Garvin (still looking for the exact location in Ireland)-born abt 1778-1790; came to Canada c1832 with wife Margaret and 4? children--one named William, another named Thomas (husband's 3rd grt grandfather). Wm Sr died about 1869; widow Margaret came to Wisconsin with her daughter Mary Ann & family. Thomas and William Jr and their families also moved to Wisconsin.
So to the best of my knowledge, no connection with PA.
