My ancestor, Joseph Satchwell, was born in New Jersey abt. 1756, but I have no idea what county. Does anyone have Satchwell in their line or could give me a suggestion for where to begin my search?? I am willing to share what I have if it is relevant to your search.

Thanks.

Your message strikes a chord with my own family research. I have a Joseph Setchwell b. 1796 in Mass., but lived and died in New Jersey. He married Sarah Sisson b. 1793, d. 1876. I have info from the cemetary where they now reside. I would be interested to know what information you have gathered to compare notes.
